It seems like a five-time WWE World Champion was getting the itch to wrestle again.

Kurt Angle received a stern message from his wife after a viral moment at Saturday Night's Main Event last weekend.

The Olympic Gold Medalist was in attendance among other legends for John Cena's swan song and even greeted him at ringside moments before his match against Gunther.

The Ring General defeated The Never Seen 17 by making him tap out to his sleeper hold submission.

After the show, a photo of Angle with a grim look on his face during his interaction with Cena went viral on social media.

His wife, Giovanna Angle, probably thought her husband was contemplating getting back in the ring.

She took to her X (formerly Twitter) to remind the WWE Hall of Famer that he's now retired.

"Nope, you're retired. Don't even try to think about it Kurt. 🫡😤@RealKurtAngle," she wrote.

Does Kurt Angle have one more WWE match left in him?

Kurt Angle called time on his legendary career at WWE WrestleMania 35, where he lost to Baron Corbin.

The 57-year-old has since stayed retired, but is often asked whether he would lace up his boots again.

Speaking on Mic Check with Mr. Anderson, Angle shut down the idea, saying his body is banged up after the physical abuse he endured throughout his active career.

"I wish I could, man. I can’t. That would be very tempting, but there’s just no way possible. I have had my knees replaced; I have to have my shoulders replaced. I had five neck surgeries, two back surgeries. My body just is really banged up. There’s really nothing I can do."

It's no secret that Kurt Angle wanted to run it back with John Cena in his last hurrah, but Vince McMahon had other plans for The Olympic Gold Medalist at the time.

Angle was Cena's debut opponent on SmackDown, and it's only fitting that he made his presence felt during The Cenation Leader's post-match celebration.
