WWE's next Saturday Night's Main Event will be the event where John Cena retires from in-ring competition. Meanwhile, Jey Uso subtly addressed in-ring retirement and how he might do it.
Jey Uso has been in the industry for over two decades and spent most of his time in the Stamford-based promotion as a tag team wrestler alongside Jimmy Uso. The twins received their major break in the company when they teamed up with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman and became the original members of The Bloodline on the blue brand for years to come.
However, it's been a few years, and Jey Uso is an established singles star with a World Heavyweight Championship win under his belt. Sadly, Father Time comes for every wrestler, and Main Event Jey is aware of it, similar to his peers on the roster and in the company.
In an appearance on RAW Recap, the ten-time WWE Tag Team, one-time Intercontinental, and one-time World Heavyweight Champion detailed his journey as a wrestler and working with his family in the industry. During this, Main Event Jey stated that he intends to wrestle until the wheels fall off, as he's not immune to in-ring retirement.

"Sky's the limit, man. I just want to ride until the wheels fall off, because one day I know the ride's going to stop," Uso said.
Jey Uso will face CM Punk at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event
Earlier this year, Jey Uso cemented his singles run in the Stamford-based promotion under Triple H's creative regime when he won the Men's Royal Rumble match. While some were dismissive of Main Event Jey's win, the 40-year-old RAW star proved everyone wrong and won the World Heavyweight Championship from Gunther at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
Sadly, the reign ended around 51 days when The Ring General won the title back on an episode of Monday Night RAW in June 2025. After a few failed attempts, Uso earned another shot when he won a number one contender's Battle Royal for the vacant title. In the coming days, the multi-time Tag Team Champion will go one-on-one against CM Punk for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship in Utah.
