John Cena is set to have his final WWE match at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13. The 17-time world champion will face the winner of the Last Time is Now Tournament - either Gunther or LA Knight. In a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Cena hinted at his final match kicking off the TV special. He added that the rest of the show would feature exhibition matches between stars from NXT and top performers on the main roster. This got fans wondering whether his final match would open the show, rather than main-event it.However, later in the interview, John Cena confirmed that his match would end the show. The TV special will go off the air right after Cena's final match in Washington, DC. The Never Seen 17 will not make any appearances on television before his final match, and the winner of Gunther vs. LA Knight will directly face the legend at Saturday Night's Main Event.John Cena calls former WWE Champion the "nicest human being"One of John Cena's former rivals, AJ Styles, recently received a lot of praise from the Peacemaker star. The two had an incredible feud over the WWE Championship when Styles debuted in the company, and had a thrilling match at Crown Jewel 2025 in Perth. In a recent appearance on The Ringer, Cena praised Styles and called him one of the nicest people in the industry:"First time ever I've worked with AJ Styles. He is the nicest human being in sports entertainment. I can find some energy of like, 'You said this about me in an interview once' or like, 'Man, I don't like the way you work' or whatever. AJ's such a good guy and I sat down, and I'm like, 'Man, this is going to be okay, why are we fighting?' He's like, 'What do you mean? Why are we fighting? I want to be the champ. That's not good enough. Take a second to yourself, figure out why we're fighting'. I went on my bus and scoured the web to try and find anything this guy has ever said. Just anything, a sentence. Never speaks bad about anybody."It remains to be seen how Cena's last match in WWE plays out and whether he will be able to go out victorious.
