WWE is just twelve days away from hosting its next major premium live event, Survivor Series: WarGames. As the build-up for the show progresses, it seems a former World Heavyweight Champion might join the CM Punk-led team for the Men's WarGames Match.

Damian Priest is the former World Heavyweight Champion in question. He lost to Rusev in the first round of John Cena's Last Time is Now Tournament on last week's edition of RAW. He has been in a program with Aleister Black over the past few weeks on SmackDown.

Given the 43-year-old's early exit from the tournament, it seems the creative team might be cooking up something for him in the upcoming Men's WarGames Match. So far, CM Punk, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Cody Rhodes are confirmed to face the team of Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul in San Diego.

Since each team will need one more superstar for WarGames, Damian Priest might be the final member of CM Punk's squad. Two weeks ago, he came to the aid of Cody Rhodes during a beatdown by McIntyre and Black on the blue brand, teasing an alliance with The American Nightmare.

Considering that the WWE Universe is seemingly unhappy with The Archer of Infamy's early exit from The Last Time is Now Tournament, booking him for the upcoming show could be an ideal way to keep him in the spotlight. It could also allow Black to join The Vision for the WarGames bout.

Damian Priest is a former World Heavyweight Champion and a huge fan favorite. Hence, the babyface squad could benefit from working with him at the upcoming event in San Diego. Priest and The Dutch Destroyer could continue their feud in the WarGames Match, adding a new chapter to their long-running saga.

Both stars deserve a chance to showcase their work on a big stage, and the WarGames Match might be the ideal way to elevate their positions on the roster. However, this angle is speculative, and only time will tell what's next for the two rivals.

Roman Reigns could join The Vision for WarGames

Roman Reigns has been off television since losing to Bronson Reed in an Australian Street Fight at Crown Jewel: Perth. However, his return might be on the horizon since he has been advertised for Survivor Series: WarGames.

Given that tonight's episode of RAW is the penultimate edition before the upcoming premium live event in San Diego, the OTC might make his return on the show. If this happens, in a shocking turn of events, he might come back as The Vision's new leader.

Considering that Reigns shared a great bond with Paul Heyman in the past, there is a high chance that The Oracle could convince him to join his group and assume the faction's leadership. This could introduce an element of surprise to the Men's WarGames Match. Reigns could agree to join forces with The Vision because he has been unable to take down the faction since its formation.

However, this angle is also speculative, and fans will have to wait and see how things play out on tonight's episode of RAW.
