The next edition of WWE's Saturday Night's Main Event will be special for a few reasons. The first obvious reason is that it will host the final match of John Cena's career.

The 17-time champion will face the winner of the Last Time is Now Tournament. It was also announced that the undercard will feature matches pitting NXT stars vs. main-roster performers since he wants to showcase the future of the industry.

Following his selections in both Iron Survivor Challenges this year, the same few names could be featured. Here are full card predictions for Saturday Night's Main Event following Survivor Series: WarGames.

#5. Kelani Jordan battles Bayley

This could have easily been Sol Ruca since she was a double champion recently and appeared on SmackDown. She seems like a favorite to win the Iron Survivor match and go after Jacy Jayne.

For that reason, Kelani Jordan is a strong bet to be included. She lost the Knockouts title and was selected for the Iron Survivor match on the same night.

It'd be nice for someone else, like Thea Hail or Nikkita Lyons, to get a chance, but officials have gone with the same rotation of women this year.

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria took a backseat to WarGames, so featuring the former multi-time women's champ should be a priority at Saturday Night's Main Event.

#4. Trick Williams clashes with Sheamus

Sheamus teamed with Cena and Rey Mysterio against the Judgment Day two weeks before Survivor Series: WarGames. The trio had issues with Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh.

Ad

Williams has portrayed an arrogant heel who feels entitled to whatever he wants. He's been a fixture in the title scenes all year despite losing in several attempts to regain the NXT title.

He could have already been called up, so facing and hanging with one of the most trusted veterans in WWE would make sense.

#3. Jaida Parker faces Lyra Valkyria

When certain stars have been chosen for tournaments or opportunities in NXT, Jaida Parker was always one of the names, along with Jordan, Lola Vice, and Ruca. It was a bit odd that she wasn't selected for the Iron Survivor Challenge.

Perhaps it was because she'd be opposing a main-roster star at Saturday Night's Main Event. Parker is a tweener who cheats and blindsides people, but gets cheered.

It's too soon to face someone like Nia Jax, so facing Valkryia would make sense. She hasn't been featured as much due to the build to WarGames. Both women represent the future of the industry.

#2. Je'Von Evans vs. Rey Mysterio at Saturday Night's Main Event

Bookers could go a few ways, but it's almost a certainty that Je'Von Evans will be featured at Saturday Night's Main Event.

He's one of the few stars who's pushed in NXT, and he's been used on the main roster a few times this year. Evans lost to Gunther in the Last Time is Now Tournament and to Sami Zayn in a US title Open Challenge match.

Facing Rey Mysterio may be a dream match for Evans, and the two could put on a fast-paced, high-flying spectacle. Evans did so with Rey Fenix, and could do so again, even if he wins the Iron Survivor Challenge the week before.

#1. John Cena's final match - John Cena vs. Gunther

It's well known that Saturday Night's Main Event will host the final match of John Cena's illustrious wrestling career. It's down to four stars - Gunther, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, and Jey Uso.

The tournament was supposed to push a star of the future, but we're left with three guys closer to 40 than 30.

Sikoa is the youngest, but has been all over SmackDown since joining the main roster. Gunther lost the World Heavyweight title at SummerSlam and needs something meaningful.

Facing Cena in his final match makes sense to repair his aura, even if he defeated two guys who actually represent the future of wrestling in Evans and Carmelo Hayes.
