André the Giant's daughter

André the Giant (birth name: André René Roussimoff) was a professional wrestler from France. He was born on May 19, 1946, in Coulommiers, France. Known as The Eighth Wonder of the World, André the Giant is a former world champion and WWF (now WWE) Tag Team Champion. He had several memorable moments in his career, including being bodyslammed by Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 3 during their title match. He worked in many motion pictures besides being successful in the wrestling ring. André died in Paris at 46 because of congestive heart failure in 1993.

Who is André the Giant's Daughter?

According to Sports Illustrated, Robin Christensen-Roussimoff is the only child of André the Giant. She was born in 1979 in Paris, France, and raised in France and the USA. The 45-year-old lives in Seattle, Washington, USA. Based on her Instagram bio, Robin is associated with Titan Championship Wrestling. Robin was also seen in the HBO documentary about her father, titled André the Giant. In an interview for the promotion of the documentary, Robin disclosed how she rarely met her father's in-ring character. She said,

"From me, the persona never really touched me. When I saw him, he was dad. Because I saw him behind the ring. I didn't watch the matches, I saw him backstage, so I saw him before and after, but not during. He was, truly, the gentle giant. You know, I never felt any fear around him whatsoever. And he really was such a cheerful person. It was great whenever we did get to see him." (via Sports Illustrated)

André died when Robin was 14 years old.
