After Gunther, another WWE star to return after 8 months after making a huge change? Possibility explored

Gunther returned to WWE for the first time since SummerSlam 2025 on the November 17 edition of WWE RAW. The Ring General defeated NXT's JeVon Evans in the first round of the Last Time is Now Tournament, earning a spot in the quarter finals.

Interestingly, the former World Heavyweight Champion reverted to using his old theme, Symphony No. 9 in E Minor, instead of Def Rebel's Prepare to Fight. Over the past year, Gunther has been presented as a singles star and has had minimal on-screen contact with his former teammate, Ludwig Kaiser, who has been missing for a few months.

Next week, Kaiser could return to programming unmasked as himself and deny ever being El Grande Americano. This could eventually lead to Chad Gable's return from injury, with the former tag team champion returning as El Grande Americano himself.

Kaiser and Gable could then feud under the mask to determine who gets to keep the moniker. While Kaiser has Los Americanos to back him up, Gable could bring the Creed Brothers back with him, who have also not been seen on television in months.

However, this scenario remains speculative for the time being.

Chad Gable's former WWE teammate reveals the impact he has had on her career

In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, Maxxine Dupri spoke about the influence Chad Gable has had on her career. The new Women's Intercontinental Champion praised Gable for his vision and ideas to help her improve:

"He’s someone that can look at something creatively. Just the business, the mind he has for this business, he’s just able to zoom out and see everything and give me these pointers that I’m like, duh, why didn’t I think of that? But I would never, and he sees it so clearly.
