5 WWE stars with whom CM Punk can re-form The Nexus

#5. Ricky Saints

Ricky Saints and CM Punk are connected due to their time in All Elite Wrestling. Now, both stars are working in the Stamford-based promotion. Recently, after Punk's victory, he was seen backstage with Saints, Jade Cargill, and Cody Rhodes.

Here, all the former AEW talents were celebrating their status as champions. If Punk has any plans to re-form The Nexus, the 35-year-old would be a great choice to lead it. Currently, he's the NXT Champion, but after possibly losing the title, he could move to the main roster and join Punk as an ally.

In 2009, CM Punk was part of The Straight Edge Society, along with Luke Gallows, Joey Mercury, and Serena. However, the faction was disbanded in 2010.

In an interview last year, Punk talked about a possible new version of the Straight Edge Society and said that if it happens, Oba Femi would be part of it.

Currently, AJ Lee isn't involved in any storyline, but a Nexus reformation with her could be an interesting angle to explore.

Lastly, Grayson Waller could also be a great fit for CM Punk's potential reformation of an alliance. Waller is currently not involved in any major storyline, and if Triple H wants to utilize him properly, he should be booked well in WWE.
