WWE Superstars usually take time off television when they need to recover from an injury. However, there are instances when they are written off television with a storyline injury, even though they are fit in real life.

There are also cases when stars are off television when the creative team doesn't have any plans for them. Several major stars have not been seen on television in a while, and in this article, we will take a look at major stars who are currently off programming, even though they aren't recovering from any major injury.

5. Tiffany Stratton

The Buff Barbie was last seen in WWE at Saturday Night's Main Event in November, when she lost her Women's Championship to Jade Cargill. At the time, she seemed to have a knee injury, which Cargill took advantage of to dethrone her.

Stratton is reportedly not injured, but is off programming after a hectic 2025, which saw her appear very frequently on television. There is no word on when she will be back, but a comeback before the Royal Rumble seems likely.

4. LA Knight

The Megastar was written off television last week, after Bronson Reed crushed him with a Tsunami on the roof of a car. Knight was taken away in an ambulance by medics, and it was revealed this week that the former United States Champion had suffered a cracked sternum and would be out of action indefinitely.

However, LA Knight is not actually injured and has been written off television to potentially have a break. He has had the most matches of any WWE Superstar in 2025 and is now taking a well-deserved break heading into the holiday season.

3. Becky Lynch

Big Time Becks has not been seen on programming since losing the Women's WarGames match at Survivor Series this year. Lynch is reportedly not dealing with an injury and is very active on social media. However, she has been missing from television since the loss, and there is no word on when she will be back.

After Survivor Series, Lynch claimed she was boycotting WWE RAW till the Intercontinental Championship was returned to her. While that was clearly a part of the storyline, it remains to be seen when she will ultimately return.

2. Roman Reigns

The Tribal Chief was last seen in WWE at Survivor Series WarGames, when his team ended up losing to Paul Heyman's line-up featuring The Vision. Reigns has only been working the company's 'Big Four' events over the past few years, and it seems likely that he will return ahead of the Royal Rumble next year.

Reigns is not injured, and his limited working schedule will likely not allow him to return before the new year.

1. Randy Orton

The 14-time world champion mysteriously disappeared from television in October and has not been seen or mentioned since. He has been pictured on vacation with his family, and recently represented WWE in Saudi Arabia at Mr. Beast Land. Orton is also not injured, but is seemingly not a part of the company's creative plans right now.

Fans have been left wondering about The Viper's whereabouts since he is not hurt, and was not written off programming either. In all likelihood, he will also return ahead of the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia next year.
