WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 delivered major twists, breakout performances and shocking results, but not everyone walked out looking strong. While several stars gained momentum, some of the biggest names in the industry turned out to look quite weak, which ended up being a massive flaw in the booking.

Triple H’s booking on this night clearly prioritized long-term storytelling, but it ended up sacrificing the momentum of some big names to elevate the younger names. While there were a very few names who ended up getting buried, all of them happen to be the poster names of the entire industry.

#4. Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch’s booking in the Women’s WarGames match surprised many fans. Despite captaining a team filled with rising stars and less experienced performers, it was the biggest name in the team who took the fall and ended up tapping out for her side.

WWE chose to have her tap out to AJ Lee, a decision that immediately made Becky look weaker even though she entered the match carrying the most star power in the team. While the tap out was majorly to begin a storyline between Lynch and AJ Lee, it did end up affecting Lynch’s momentum for sure.

#3. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns entered WarGames positioned as the heroic powerhouse, trying to save his team from some of the biggest devils of the industry. While his brawl outside the ring with Brock Lesnar has been making headlines all over the internet, his momentum dropped right when the Beast delivered the F5 to the star.

Coming out of a singles loss to Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel, Reigns was expected to gain his momentum back during the Men’s WarGames match. However, the OTC1 couldn’t create a lot of impact in the match, and ended up being on the losing end as well. This was a big flaw in the booking, which could have been omitted if WWE chose to extend the match further to add some big moments featuring the Tribal Chief.

#2. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar’s performance inside WarGames felt uncharacteristically weak. He exploded early with signature intensity, but his momentum disappeared the second Roman Reigns hit him with a brass-knuckle Superman Punch in the ring.

While Lesnar was the one to take down everyone on Punk’s team when the latter had all the momentum, the ending moments of the match featured a masked man pull out the spotlight, in spite of Lesnar showing his dominance further, considering the fact that he was the face of the team.

#1. WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella suffered yet another damaging loss at WWE Survivor Series, continuing a streak that has severely cooled her return. Her recent heel turn was considered to be the turning point in her run lately, but ended up getting wasted completely with her loss to Stephanie Vaquer at Survivor Series.

Bella’s loss ended up burying her and her return even further. It would now be interesting to see if WWE turned things around by giving Bella an even better character arc to bring her back into the spotlight that she deserves.
