On the latest episode of WWE RAW, LA Knight was brutally attacked by The Vision. The Megastar lost to Logan Paul, thanks to the mystery man from Survivor Series: WarGames making his presence felt once again. After the match, Paul, along with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, continued to attack Knight.
The former United States Champion was helped to the back, but he showed he still had some fight left, leading to Reed and Paul launching another attack on Knight. To ensure he didn't get up, The Aus-zilla delivered a Tsunami splash onto The Megastar, who was lying on the roof of a car.
The sheer brutality of the attack sparked a discourse among fans about whether LA Knight was done with WWE, as there have been multiple instances in the past when stars were written off TV with an attack and never returned to the company. In this listicle, we will look at four times it has happened.

#4. No Way Jose
No Way Jose was with WWE for five years, but failed to find much success in his stints in NXT and RAW. On April 15, 2020, he was released from his contract due to budget cuts.
Just a few days before his release, Jose was squashed in under two minutes by Bobby Lashley on the April 13, 2020, episode of RAW, which would be his final match in the Stamford-based promotion.
#3. WWE Hall of Famer Lita
Lita won the Women's Tag Team Championship with Becky Lynch on the February 27, 2023, episode of WWE RAW, defeating Dakota Kai and IYO SKY. The duo was slated for their first title defense against Liv Morgan and The Judgment Day on the April 10, 2023, episode of the Monday night show.
However, just before the show, Lita was mysteriously attacked backstage, leading to Trish Stratus replacing her as Lynch's tag team partner. Stratus then turned heel and revealed herself as the attacker. This marked the end of Lita's run, as she was not seen on TV again until later that year, when she announced the participants for the Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline.
#2. Troy "Two Dimes" Donovan
Troy Donovan had a short stint with WWE in 2022. He performed in NXT and was part of Tony D'Angelo's Family before being released from his contract on June 11 of that year due to a policy issue.
He was written off TV in an interesting manner. On the June 28, 2022, episode of NXT, D'Angelo and Stacks were shown standing near a bridge, with The Don claiming that he had taken care of the "traitor."
#1. Ricochet
After a six-year tenure in WWE, Ricochet left the company on June 30, 2024, after his contract expired. The high-flyer received a brutal send-off by Bron Breakker.
Breakker attacked Ricochet in the parking lot on the June 10, 2024, episode of RAW, slamming him on a car windshield. The 37-year-old was writhing in pain as he left the arena in an ambulance, marking his last appearance in the Stamford-based promotion.
