WWE has, over the years, established a reputation for attempting to excite its audience by inviting celebrities to the ring to compete in matches with wrestlers. Although this strategy has been effective in drawing attention, most people feel that the continuity of the storyline has been affected at times.

Now, let's explore four times a celebrity ruined a WWE storyline.

#4. Snooki

Snooki has a storied history with Dolph Ziggler, Vickie Guerrero, and John Morrison in the Stamford-based promotion. She made an appearance on the March 14, 2011, episode of Monday Night RAW, where she cut a promo with Morrison, Vickie, and Ziggler.

During this promo, she slapped Vickie, sparking a feud with the on-screen couple. Later that night, she was involved in a brawl with LayCool. This incident led to a six-person mixed tag team match at WrestleMania XXVII, where she, Trish Stratus, and John Morrison emerged victorious.

While the storyline seemed promising, it arguably didn't have the desired impact. Stratus and Morrison arguably didn't benefit from sharing the ring with Snooki.

#3. Butterbean

Butterbean is another celebrity who many believe spoiled a WWE storyline. He is a retired professional boxer, kickboxer, mixed martial artist, professional wrestler, and an American television personality.

During his active career, he was involved in a program with Bart Gunn in 1999, setting up the stage for a boxing match at WrestleMania XV. However, he brutally knocked out Gunn in just five seconds, despite being sent by then-WWF to be trained by Ray Rinaldi.

#2. Travis Scott

Travis Scott was part of the creative plans earlier this year and factored in John's heel turn storyline. The Franchise Player turned heel for the first time since 2003 by viciously attacking Cody Rhodes at this year's Elimination Chamber PLE, allying himself with The Rock and Scott.

Things didn't stop there, as the musician later helped Cena achieve his goal of being a 17-time World champion by dethroning The American Nightmare for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 41 Night Two.

Logan Paul later revealed that Travis Scott was supposed to team up with him and The Cenation Leader for a six-man tag team match against Cody Rhodes and The Usos at this year's Money in the Bank. However, the musician didn't show up on the day the match was supposed to be announced.

#1. Jon Stewart

Jon Stewart arguably ruined John Cena's match against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam 2015. The Franchise Player and Rollins faced off in a Winner Takes All Match for both the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the United States Title.

During the match, the GOAT was attacked with a steel chair by Stewart, who was the guest host of the event. This ended Cena's US Title reign at 147 days.
