The semifinals of the tournament were held on this past week's edition of WWE RAW. While Gunther defeated Solo Sikoa, LA Knight beat Jey Uso to earn his spot in the finals.

There has been a lot of speculation about which superstar will win and challenge Cena in his final match. In this listicle, we will look at four ways Gunther vs. LA Knight could end tonight.

4. LA Knight could defeat Gunther clean

Gunther has already established himself as a huge star, with a record Intercontinental Championship reign and two runs as the World Heavyweight Champion. He also retired Goldberg earlier this year, and Knight could benefit more from winning the match.

To help The Megastar gain more credibility, WWE could have Knight pin Gunther clean, becoming one of the few stars on the main roster to defeat the Ring General.

3. Jey Uso could cost LA Knight the match

Interestingly, most of the matches of the Last Time is Now Tournament have gone through without interference. While Solo Sikoa was backed up by Talla Tonga this past week, it was an exception and not the norm. But something similar could happen in the final.

Jey Uso was visibly frustrated after his loss to LA Knight this Monday on RAW. The former World Heavyweight Champion was very upset and could take out his frustration on Knight by costing him the finals against Gunther.

This would protect Knight in defeat, while also setting up a feud between the two. It could also help Uso turn heel, enabling him to begin a new arc as a singles star.

2. Gunther could win clean

Rumors suggest Gunther is set to be John Cena's final opponent at Saturday Night's Main Event. The Ring General has been presented as an incredibly dominant in-ring performer, and could continue his streak of wins tonight with a clean victory over Knight.

The former World Heavyweight Champion has the size advantage and is the more intimidating of the two. Therefore, he could make Knight pass out to a sleeper hold or pin him after a powerbomb to pick up the win.

1. LA Knight could win by taking advantage of a distracted referee

Gunther hit Solo Sikoa with a low blow as the referee was distracted to punch his ticket to the finals. Something similar could happen on SmackDown, but this time, things could go against the Austrian.

The referee could be distracted by an exposed turnbuckle, allowing Knight to potentially hit his opponent with a low blow and into the BFT for the win. While he is a babyface, Knight might take advantage of the opportunity to overcome an intimidating opponent.

This way, Gunther would be protected in defeat while Knight could go on to face John Cena in Washington, DC.
