WWE Survivor Series: WarGames is set to take place in San Diego, California, this year. The build-up to the last of the year's 'Big Four' premium live events has already started.

It seems likely that we will see hometown heroes Rey and Dominik Mysterio in action at the PLE. Moreover, like every year, two WarGames matches seem to be on the table for this year. But which factions will make it to the cage hasn't been confirmed yet.

With over three weeks left for the premium live event, here are some key mistakes Triple H and the WWE creative team must not make heading into Survivor Series 2025:

4. John Cena shouldn't start a new singles feud

Cena only has four appearances left in WWE before he retires. The Franchise Player is next scheduled to appear on the November 10 edition of WWE RAW from his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts.

In all likelihood, the legend will just kick off the Last Time is Now Tournament and hype up the crowd, meaning it is unlikely he will start a feud for a singles match at Survivor Series. The company has already started promoting his last bout, and it won't make sense for him to begin a new singles feud now.

This year, the 17-time world champion should compete in the Men's WarGames match as part of the babyface team, which is one of the few matches he hasn't competed in yet.

3. Bayley should turn on Lyra Valkyria before Survivor Series

The partnership between Bayley and Lyra Valkyria seems to be built on an unstable foundation. The Kabuki Warriors have refrained from attacking The Role Model, suggesting that Bayley could be in cahoots with them.

Including Becky Lynch and Maxxine Dupri in the Women's WarGames match wouldn't make much sense since they aren't tied to the tag team division in any capacity. As a result, having Bayley turn on Valkyria and re-form Damage CTRL before Survivor Series would make much more sense.

They could be joined by The Judgment Day's Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez to battle Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Charlotte, Alexa Bliss, and Lyra Valkyria.

2. The AAA Mega Championship should not be ignored

Rey Mysterio returned to WWE this past week to confront his son, Dominik, and renew his rivalry with him. It seems likely that the self-proclaimed 'King of Luchadores' will be challenged for the Intercontinental Championship by his father. However, the AAA Mega Championship should not be ignored at Survivor Series.

If Dominik is to lose to his father again, it would make most sense for Rey Mysterio to win the AAA Mega Championship only. This way, it would elevate AAA while allowing Dominik to continue as the Intercontinental Champion.

Since their battle is one of supremacy for the 'King of Luchadores' title, the AAA Mega Championship should be included prominently, instead of being an afterthought.

1. Cody Rhodes should either finish his feud with Drew McIntyre or start a fresh story

Rhodes defeated Drew McIntyre at Saturday Night's Main Event to retain his WWE Championship. The American Nightmare could have lost the title if he had been disqualified or counted out. However, he still used the belt to his advantage, something the referee didn't see.

All the momentum behind McIntyre seems to have fizzled out, and if they continue their feud, Rhodes should drop the title to The Scottish Warrior at Survivor Series. Alternatively, if McIntyre takes time off programming, Rhodes should start a new rivalry to ensure his title reign doesn't become stale - potentially one with Randy Orton.
