WWE has been teasing a surprise with cryptic videos on social media. Since yesterday, the global juggernaut has posted four different videos on X, indicating that something massive is coming. It appears that the promotion is building toward a major return or debut, with many interesting names being mentioned in fan theories. If that is indeed the case, there are certain names we would love to see revealed as this mystery superstar, and there are some we hope are not behind these cryptic teases. On that note, let's look at three WWE Superstars we hope are behind the mysterious videos and two we hope aren't:#3. (Are) It should be GuntherGunther has been out of action with a nose injury since SummerSlam, where he lost the World Heavyweight Championship to CM Punk in the main event of Night One. The Ring General is rumored to be John Cena's final opponent. If that is the case, with Cenation Leader's retirement fast approaching, now would be the perfect time to reintroduce the Austrian.#2. (Aren't) Hopefully, it's not Austin Theory A legitimate injury has sidelined Austin Theory since July. However, the former United States Champion recently made waves following rumors of him potentially joining The Vision in the Men's WarGames Match at Survivor Series. However, with Seth Rollins' untimely injury and eviction from the faction, Theory aligning with The Vision wouldn't make much sense now. Moreover, given his position on the roster before going on hiatus, Theory would arguably be an underwhelming reveal as the mystery superstar.#2. (Are) Andrade is a great choiceAndrade's contract situation has confused everyone. On September 13, the Mexican star abruptly departed from WWE. A few weeks later, Andrade returned to AEW on October 1, attacking Kenny Omega and joining The Don Callis Family. However, that has been his only appearance in the Tony Khan-led promotion so far. That said, Andrade's AEW appearance may have violated his non-compete clause with the Stamford-based promotion, and as a result, he could be kept out of action for up to a year. Rumors suggest that the global juggernaut is leveraging this situation to get Andrade back in the promotion. If that is true, then he could be a great choice to be the person behind the mystery videos.#1. (Aren't) Santos EscobarSantos Escobar has yet to make an appearance on TV since re-signing with WWE earlier this month. That said, he is reportedly set to return on the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW.While it is possible that the former Cruiserweight Champion could be the man behind the mystery videos, we hope that is not the case, as he is arguably not a popular enough name to warrant such heavy teases. #1. (Are) Chris Jericho's shocking WWE return?Since going on a hiatus from AEW, Chris Jericho has teased returning to WWE on several occasions. Y2J is another name fans would love to see lock horns with John Cena before the latter's retirement. While it's unlikely that Jericho would return to the global juggernaut any time soon, since he's still contracted to AEW, it would surely be a shocking scenario if he were the man behind the cryptic videos.
