The first team on this list has to be Vitality. The VCT EMEA giant is clearly focused on building a superteam with a capable roster. The team already had Derke, who had been dropped by Fnatic in 2025. Now, Vitality has even acquired the likes of Chronicle and Jamppi. Here is the full new roster:

NA's team, Sentinels, went through a radical change. Fan-favourites such as Zellsis, zekken, and bang are no longer with the organization. Instead, new players have joined the team with johnqt still in the IGL's position. The new roster includes:

  • johnqt
  • N4RRATE
  • Reduxx
  • Kyu
  • Cortezia

Cortezia was acquired from MIBR after the team faced disappointment at Valorant Champions Paris in 2025. Meanwhile, Kyu has been at the Kubert Academy since July 2025 and has finally transitioned to the main roster.

Evil Geniuses had a rather underwhelming run during the Americas Stage 2 as they failed to make it to the international stage. Now, the entire roster has been restructured, and veterans such as yay and icy are out of the team. The new team includes:

4) Fnatic

Fnatic had another near-victory lap when they lost to NRG at the Grand Final of Valorant Champions Paris. Now with Chronicle out of the roster, the organization has welcomed former Gentle Mates' player, Veqaj, to the team. The new roster includes:

  • Boaster
  • crashies
  • kaajak
  • Veqaj
  • Alfajer

Boaster had previously confirmed that he's not looking towards retirement without trying for an international win. Therefore, Valorant Season 26 could be a very crucial run for the EMEA icons.

5) MIBR

Finally, the last team that may surprise fans ahead of Valorant Season 26 is MIBR. Officially, not much is known. So far, the organization has let Cortezia go, who has joined Sentinels as mentioned earlier. However, rumors from reliable sources such as @RocketBullets, suggest that the entire roster is being rebuilt around their star player, aspas, and IGL Verno.

If leaks and rumors are to be believed, MIBR will soon have zekken, Mazino, and tex on their roster. Similar leaks also suggest that these players were the desired dream team for aspas and MIBR may have contacted them to actually form the brand new roster around the star Duelist.

While information around Mazino and tex is scarce, zekken being in talks with MIBR has been a very consistent rumor, with even TenZ acknowledging it during a livestream.

These are five teams that fans may want to look forward to heading into Valorant Season 26. All of these roster moves are rather exciting and create teams that pack a lot of potential. Roster moves are very frequent as of the time of writing and are expected to remain so until the new season officially begins with VCT Kickoff on January 11, 2026.
