However, that narrative was quickly shot down by Courtney Williams, Hiedeman’s StudBudz teammate, who clarified the situation during a live stream. Williams was on stream, having a few drinks with both Carrington and Hiedeman, when she addressed the audience directly.

She asked her viewers to stop flooding the live chat with comments suggesting that the two players were dating. She even warned that anyone who kept pushing the narrative would be banned.

“Anyone in the chat that says anything about T and DiJonai being together, you’re getting banned,” Williams said. “You will be getting banned.”

Natisha Hiedeman was previously engaged to Jasmine Thomas, but the two went their separate ways in 2023. Carrington had been in a relationship with NaLyssa Smith, which began during their time at Baylor University in 2020. Their time together eventually came to an end shortly after the 2025 WNBA season wrapped up.

Even though they are not a couple, DiJonai Carrington and Natisha Hiedeman did have time together as teammates. Carrington joined the Minnesota Lynx after a mid-season trade from the Dallas Wings. She appeared in 11 regular-season games and averaged 8.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists during the stretch.
