Dallas Wings star Arike Ogunbowale's latest Instagram post had WNBA fans imagining and hoping for a different scenario for her next WNBA season.

The WNBA star, in her pair of green joggers and black T-shirt, posted a mirror selfie with her fianceé Lala Ronay on her Instagram Story on Thursday. Ogunbowale tagged the location to Toronto, Canada.

With the new Toronto Tempo team joining the WNBA in the 2026 season as yet another expansion team, the post had fans chirping in the comment section. Many even considered the $725,952 WNBA star's [per Spotrac] post, hinting at a potential career move.

Reacting to the post, one of the fans quipped with a long message.

"Arike to the Tempo agenda looking GOOD."

A fan also highlighted Ogunbowale's fiaceé rocking a cardigan matching Tempo's team color.

One of the fans hilariously went into prayer mode.

Another individual already declared that the Wings star would join the expansion team.

Arike Ogunbowale could leave Wings for another team

In the 2019 WNBA draft, the Dallas Wings drafted Arike Ogunbowale at No. 5. Since then, the All-Star guard has stuck with the team through it all. However, patience might be running out for Ogunbowale after Dallas' performance last season.

Despite having Paige Bueckers and Ogunbowale herself on the roster, Dallas won just 10 games in the season. There was a widespread belief that Dallas tanked because they wanted the top draft pick.

Ogunbowale has dedicated her career to the team, and even at age 28 and seven seasons later, she has played a total of only 7 playoff games. Just one time in her career, she has moved beyond the first round. It was the second year in a row that the Wings missed the playoffs.

Ogunbowale might end up making a big career decision this offseason. She could either join a title-contending team or join the Toronto Tempo for a fresh start.
