Sophie Cunningham has risen to stardom since she arrived in Indiana in January. The Fever star became a fan favorite after she stood up for Caitlin Clark in a chippy 88-71 win over the Connecticut Sun on Jun. 17. Cunningham was kicked out of the game after she committed a hard foul on Sun guard Jacy Sheldon.
Cunningham started her journey in Indiana as a bench player. However, later in the season, she had to fill in as a starter as Clark and other guards were sidelined due to injuries. She helped the Fever win the 2025 Commissioner's Cup before getting sidelined with a torn MCL in August.
