NaLyssa Smith Shows Off Neck Tattoo in First Social Media Post Since Celebrating Championship With Aces

Las Vegas Aces star NaLyssa Smith returned to social media after a two-week break. In the Instagram post, Smith shared several photos of her slimmed-down look less than a month after winning a championship with the Aces. She wore a white long-sleeved shirt, camouflage shorts and a pair of sneakers. She also has a No. 3 chain around her neck and a Chrome Hearts camo cap.

Smith also shared a picture of her new tattoo on the right side of her neck, which reads, "Thank you God." It was the same message she had on her social media accounts after the Aces defeated the Phoenix Mercury to become the 2025 WNBA champions.

NaLyssa Smith's post came after DiJonai Carrington's cryptic Instagram montage of selfies and breakup messages. It fueled the rumors of the couple's breakup, although nothing has been confirmed.

Smith and Carrington have also unfollowed each other on Instagram. Here's one of Carrington's posts on her IG stories a couple of days ago.

"I've always been afraid of losing people I love. Sometimes I wonder, is there anyone out there afraid to lose me," the post read.

The couple has been together since 2020, during their time together at Baylor. They broke up for a brief period last year but then reunited. There were even rumors of an engagement, although neither party spoke publicly about the issue.

They became teammates after the Dallas Wings acquired Smith from the Indiana Fever and Carrington from the Connecticut Sun before the 2025 WNBA season. However, it didn't last since the Wings traded Smith to the Las Vegas Aces at the end of June and Carrington to the Minnesota Lynx at the deadline.

Despite unfollowing DiJonai Carrington on Instagram, NaLyssa Smith is still following Vickie and Darren Carrington II. Vickie is the mother of DiJonai, while Darren II is her older brother.

The couple has also seemingly removed photos of each other from their Instagram accounts. They went through this during their brief breakup a year ago.
