Sophie Cunningham made a name for herself during her time with the Missouri Tigers, averaging 17.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game in four years. Her contributions led to her being inducted into the university's Hall of Fame.

Cunningham said she felt honored to be part of the Hall of Fame and thanked those who had supported her to reach this point in her career.

"You know, it's just a special night to be back home in my hometown," Cunningham said. "My whole family, all my friends were here, and so I did get inducted to the Hall of Fame. But I promise you that this is an award for all of them to get me to where I'm at."
