Sparks' Cameron Brink gets candid on WNBA salariesCameron Brink's lifestyle has been on her social media accounts. While it shows the glamour of her lifestyle, Brink does not mind the level of WNBA salaries. In an interview with the “Richer Lives by SoFi” podcast in February, Brink was candid about her thoughts on WNBA players' salaries, stating that the league is still far from narrowing the salary gap between women's players and NBA players."Realistically, we’re never probably going to get where the NBA is,” she said. “Maybe in 20 years, 30, 35 years. As women, we have to work so hard for the money we do make. I do think that we could get to the same level, but it’s going to take a while.”“I would love to spend more, but I definitely know the importance of saving and putting away that nest egg for me later in life,” she said. “You only play basketball for so long. I’m definitely trying to capitalize on the money I’m making now.”Players and the league have been negotiating for a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for next season. Brink earned $78,066 last season with the Sparks.
