Lauren Betts is one of the most promising prospects in women's basketball ahead of the 2026 WNBA draft, scheduled to take place in April. The UCLA Bruins center is a high-scoring and defensive post presence, which many teams would want to have on their roster.

However, it appears that Betts will be heading to Minnesota on draft day. On Wednesday, Lynx coach Cheryl Reeves attended the UCLA Bruins vs Texas Longhorns game.

Minnesota bagged the No. 2 pick for the upcoming draft in the lottery on Sunday. Betts will likely be the Lynx's first choice for the pick as they lack a player with post presence on their roster.

A basketball media outlet shared a picture of Reeves visiting the college game on X on Wednesday. The fans swarmed the comments section with their opinions about her visit.

"Her drafting Lauren in the first round and Rori Harmon in the third round to start the new Lynx dynasty," one fan said.

Lauren Betts had a bad showing in the 76-65 loss against the Longhorns, with Reeve and Sparks assistant coach Danielle Robinson in attendance. She scored eight points, collected seven rebounds and dished out three assists.

However, one bad game does not shade the UCLA star's season so far. Betts is averaging 15.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game on 61.7% shooting.

Lauren Betts reveals honest thoughts on the WNBA lottery

The UCLA Bruins secured an 88-37 win over the Southern Jaguars on Sunday. After the game, Lauren Betts attended a postgame conference where a reporter asked her for her thoughts on the Dallas Wings winning the first pick in the WNBA lottery.

The Bruins star expressed her excitement for the lottery winners in her response, but said that she was currently focused on her college team.

"That's amazing. It's so cool," She said. "I don't have a lot to say about that right now, but that is really amazing, and I am excited to see what the future holds, but just loving being a Bruin as of right now. So I'm gonna focus on that."

Betts scored 15 points, collected six rebounds, had three successful steals and made two successful blocks to help her team secure the win.
