WNBA fans were amped up after Paige Bueckers drained a clutch 3-point shot over Caitlin Clark at Team USA's scrimmage at Duke University. In a video that surfaced on social media, Bueckers grabbed the rebound and sent Clark flying for a side-step 3-pointer
Bueckers was fired up, leading to the comments section being flooded with reactions from fans. Reacting to the post, a fan urged Clark to upgrade her trash talk.
"Periodt, Paige SERVED Caitlin a plate of shut up and took the L out of her mouth 🤣 Clark's gotta step her trash talk game up if she wants to hang with Bueckers on AND off the court 💁♀️."

A fan, however, wasn't impressed by Paige Bueckers' trash talk.
"Getting that hyped for an open shot screams insecurity by Paige."
Paige Bueckers has a new nickname for Team USA's young core
When Team USA invited 18 players for the training camp at Duke University, 10 of the players on the list had never played for the USA's senior basketball team. It was not just important for the future, but also for the overwhelming talent these young players brought.
The opportunity is not just a big step for Paige Bueckers, but also a rare opportunity to learn from the best in the business
"Our generation and our young core is the 'young and turnt' core, so that's the kind of vibe that we want to bring to this camp," Bueckers told USA Today on Thursday.
"There's some vets and there's the older class who have already come in and won gold medals and they have that experience. So as a younger group you want to ask them questions, soak it up, be a sponge, get their experience, and then grow in our experience."
Team USA has been dominating on the global stage for a long time now. For years, the team has kept veteran presence at the core, but the new training camp has a bit of an altered approach.
