Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark was one of Shey Peddy’s biggest supporters last season. While Clark was sidelined with a groin injury, she was one of the loudest fans of the veteran guard. Clark appreciated what Peddy brought to the team.
On Wednesday, Peddy shared an Instagram story featuring the shoes that Clark gave her. She said:
“Shout out to Clark, CC for hooking me up. Appreciate you, dawg.”
Peddy also wrote a message for WNBA superstar:
“S/0 to @caitlinclar22 for the blessings.”

Caitlin Clark sent Shey Peddy different colorways of her player-exclusive (PE) Nike Kobe 5 Protro and Nike Kobe 6 Protro. Clark’s signature shoe line hasn’t dropped yet, prompting her to keep using the Kobes, which she has worn since her days in Iowa. Clark said in July that Kobe's shoes are “the best” and “it’s not even close.”
Peddy, who signed a one-year, $78,831 contract with the LA Sparks, appreciated the gesture. She was waived by the Sparks in July before agreeing to join the Fever on a seven-day hardship deal in August. Indiana needed Peddy for reinforcement after Aari McDonald and Sydney Colson went down with season-ending injuries.
Clark recognized Shey Peddy’s contribution, particularly in the playoffs against the eventual champion Las Vegas Aces. Peddy contributed 13 points, two rebounds and two assists in the crucial Game 5.
Caitlin Clark sent Shey Peddy the Nike Kobe 6 Protro ‘Caitlin Clark’ colorway
During her rookie season, Clark debuted multiple colorways of the Nike Kobe 5 Protro. The Swoosh doubled down on the model after her huge success as the Laker Legend’s unofficial shoe endorser. Before the 2025 season started, a “Fever” colorway dropped.
Although Clark was limited to 13 games due to various muscle injuries, Nike continued to release new colorways. In November, the Kobe Protro 6 received a color makeover.
The snake-like upper received a light armory blue color, while the Swoosh logo became a bright Baltic blue streak. The Fever superstar point guard included the model in the package she sent to Shey Peddy.
