On the court, Caitlin Clark has always stood out because of her court vision and shooting prowess. When it comes to net worth off the court, the Indiana Fever superstar is also a unique specimen.
According to Sportico's Kurt Badenhausen, only a sliver of Clark's 2025 earnings comes from her WNBA salary. Reportedly, Clark made around $16.1 million this past year, but her WNBA salary and bonuses only amount to $114,000.
This unique scenario, of course, was brought about by Clark's immense talent, which has gained global recognition since her college stint with the Iowa Hawkeyes. CC's prolific scoring and playmaking skills have made her a household name, and in turn, sponsors have sought to secure her endorsement.
The list of sponsors that have partnered with the Fever guard is a top-tier list of brands. Among others, Badenhausen named the following: Nike, Gatorade, State Farm, Wilson, Xfinity, and Gainbridge.
Badenhausen also cited Sportico's list of highest-paid female athletes in 2025, which situates Clark at sixth. Ahead of her are tennis stars Coco Gauff ($311 million), Aryna Sabalenka ($30 million), Iga Swiatek ($23.1 million), and Zheng Qinwen ($20.6 million), as well as freestyle skier Eileen Gu ($23 million).
Not every WNBA athlete, of course, is on Clark's level. As a matter of fact, the issue of salary increase and revenue sharing remains a sticking point in the CBA talks between the players' union and the WNBA, who have agreed to another extension for negotiations.
"It's remarkable": NBA Commissioner Adam Silver commends Caitlin Clark's meteoric rise to popularity
One key figure who is caught up in the WNBA CBA drama is NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, who is confident that WNBA players will get a significant bump in their earnings when all is said and done.
Earlier this week, Silver appeared in a local Indiana Pacers broadcast. Naturally, the topic of beloved Indiana star Caitlin Clark came up, and Silver had a generous compliment to offer.
"To see the popularity of Caitlin, to see the Fever exploding in popularity, not just here in Indianapolis, Indiana, but globally, it's remarkable," Silver said.
It remains to be seen, of course, whether Clark will play an even bigger role in achieving a long-overdue resolution to the CBA drama.
