Caitlin Clark sent a special shoutout to her former Iowa coach, Raina Harmon, after the Florida Gulf Coast University Eagles' crucial win over the Stanford Cardinals. Harmon, who joined the Eagles as head coach in April, led her team to a 66–62 win over the Cardinals, who had entered the game undefeated.

Caitlin Clark set to return to the basketball court after disappointing 2025 season
After almost six months of absence from basketball, Caitlin Clark will finally make her return to the basketball court. She has been named in the 18-player training camp roster for the Team USA women's basketball for the upcoming FIBA World Cup next year.
The USA women's basketball team made the announcement last week, featuring some of the biggest names in the country. Clark will be joined by Chicago Sky star Angel Reese, LA Sparks veteran Kelsey Plum and 2025 Rookie of the Year Paige Bueckers.
The roster will also feature top college basketball names, including Lauren Betts and Azzi Fudd, two of the top prospects for the 2026 WNBA draft.
The training camp is set for Dec. 12-14 at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. The 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup will be held in Germany from Sept. 4-13.
Before the 2024 Paris Olympics, there were hopes that Caitlin Clark would make the Team USA roster. However, she was left out, a move that was decried by fans and basketball pundits. With Clark on the roster, the WNBA will have a significant opportunity for global exposure.
