Caitlin Clark Falls in 'Love' With Former Teammates' Awesome Pose with Mickey Mouse

Caitlin Clark felt ecstatic after former Iowa Hawkeyes teammate Jada Gyamfi's latest social media post. Clark was happy to see Gyamfi take a picture with Mickey Mouse despite her fear of mascots. The Indiana Fever star played two seasons with Gyamfi from 2022 to 2024.

In a post on her Instagram stories, Clark re-shared Iowa Women's Basketball's image and reel of Gyamfi with Mickey Mouse. The senior player looked confident in the picture, putting her arm on Mickey's shoulder, though she was very afraid to do so in the video.

Clark expressed her love and support for Gyamfi after she conquered her fear of mascots.

"Love this pose!!! Just awesome girl," Clark wrote.

Speaking on her "Fresh Tawk" podcast last August 2024, Jada Gyamfi revealed her fear of Iowa's mascot, Herky. Gyamfi added that she has always been terrified of all mascots, as well as anyone who dresses in costumes like clowns. She's even afraid of her teammates when they wear Halloween costumes.

"My biggest fear, and Herky terrifies me, there's a name for it," Gyamfi said. "It's like a phobia, it's making my stomach hurt just to think about it. I am really, really, really terrified of Herky, and my hands are shaking because I've had some traumatizing experiences. ... It's every single mascot, and I've also discovered it's basically anyone who dresses up in costume."

Gyamfi added that the man behind Herky knows about her fear and still trolls her every chance he has. She even remembered getting chased by the mascot after Iowa's win, making her hide in the bathroom for 10 minutes while her team was celebrating.

Caitlin Clark gives update on her recovery this offseason

Speaking on the Golf Channel at The ANNIKA pro-am golf tournament last week, Caitlin Clark shared an update on her recovery from a strained groin and sprained ankle. Clark was plagued by injuries in her second season, causing her to play in just 13 out of the possible 44 games.

"I'm feeling back to 100 percent," Clark said, according to USA Today. "I have been trying to take advantage of the fall weather in Indianapolis before it gets too cold. Obviously, being down here in Florida, the weather makes it pretty easy to play some golf."

It will be interesting to see how the Indiana Fever rebuild their roster once the new CBA gets agreed upon and the craziest free agency in WNBA history begins.
