Clark once again will not participate in Unrivaled. She said that once her groin recovery was complete, she will spend her offseason working out with the USA team's training camp for the FIBA World Cup next year.

Despite playing without Clark, the Fever reached Game 5 of the semifinals. They will expect big things from themselves when Clark returns fully healthy.

Caitlin Clark's veteran teammate showers praise on Fever star's team mentality

Caitlin Clark is the most famous athlete in WNBA history. Despite her unmatched fame, the Fever star has been able to keep herself humble, both outside and inside basketball. Clark's maturity has won her the respect of her teammates.

Kelsey Mitchell, the hero of the Fever's 2025 season, showered praise on Clark for being a great teammate while on WNBA legend Sue Bird’s “Bird’s Eye” podcast in October.

"The biggest part that I respected about Caitlin is that she never was bigger than the program. ... She wasn’t trying to take over," she said.

The Fever star added that when Clark arrived, she didn't take over the locker room and the team with her stardom, but rather played a game that complemented both her and Aliyah Boston.

Caitlin Clark holds the NCAA's all-time scoring record. However, since she has joined the Fever, she has embraced the role of a facilitator. Clark has never imposed her style of play on the Fever's offense.

Clark struggled on offense in the 13 games she played in this season. Fever fans will expect a breakout season from her when she returns fully healthy next season.
