Caitlin Clark to consider all opportunities to play in offseason amid looming Unrivaled decision

It was certainly a forgettable season for Caitlin Clark as her 2025 WNBA season was limited to just 13 games with injuries, including two groin injuries. In her offseason after the rookie year, the Indiana Fever star spent time golfing and attending, but this offseason, the WNBA star has basketball in mind.

After the Fever were eliminated in the semifinal round, Clark hinted at playing basketball in her offseason. She said that she would be considering all opportunities and see where she could play this offseason.

While the Unrivaled league's doors remain open for her, Caitlin Clark only mentioned USA basketball.

The Unrivaled basketball team tried to recruit Clark last season; however, she didn't enter the league. However, this year, fans have been urging the Fever star to play in the Unrivaled. This year is set to be very highlighted with several new stars joining the league.

Caitlin Clark's Fever teammate Aliyah Boston and Paige Bueckers are set to play in January. Last year, Clark used her offseason to work with Fever player development coach Keith Porter.

Napheesa Collier shocked the basketball world with her exit interview. After the Minnesota Lynx lost their semifinal series against the Phoenix Mercury. After the game, Collier appeared for the postgame conference. However, she announced that she was going to give her statement before she took questions.

In her statement, Collier revealed her conversation with WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert. A part of the conversation consisted of Collier asking the Commissioner about how she was going to address the issue of players like Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers being underpaid, who bring so much revenue to the league.

When Caitlin Clark was asked about Collier directly challenging the WNBA and fighting for the players.

"I have great respect for Phee, and I think she made a lot of very valid points," Clark said on Thursday during Fever exit interviews. "I think what people need to understand: We need great leadership in this time across all levels."

"This is straight up the most important moment in this league's history. This league has been around for 25-plus years, and this is a moment we have to capitalize on."

Napheesa Collier received support from players across the WNBA. NBA star Tyrese Haliburton also came out in Collier's support.
