Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull have become incredibly close on and off the court. Even when the Indiana Fever isn't seeing action in the WNBA, the two continue to show support for each other's endeavors.Clark did just that after Hull attended a New York City event held by Fanatics and Boardroom. After Hull posted a series of pictures from what she dubbed "24 hrs in NYC," Clark posted a one-word message of affirmation for her teammate of two years. Credit: Hull/IGWith several months to go before WNBA action resumes, Fever fans continue to be treated to interactions between Clark and Hull.Last month, Hull and Sophie Cunningham appeared as guest caddies for Clark's stint at the 2025 Annika. When Clark was announced as a participant at the golfing event, Hull and Cunningham publicly volunteered to assist the Fever superstar. What started a joke turned into a reality as Hull and Cunningham had a blast doing caddie duties (and, every now and then, playfully teasing their highly competitive teammate) at the Annika.Since Clark entered the WNBA in 2024, she has developed a strong bond with Hull, who was taken sixth overall by the Fever in the 2022 draft. When Clark missed a chunk of games this past season, Hull became a fixture in the Fever's starting lineup and stepped up on both ends of the floor.Analyst predicts that Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull will make Fever's protected list ahead of expansion draftsBetween the uncertainty of the ongoing CBA talks and the upcoming expansion drafts, there's a possibility that Clark and Hull will no longer play together when the WNBA's next season begins.Still, ESPN's Kevin Pelton is confident that the two friends will remain on the Fever roster. In his predictions for each WNBA team's protected list ahead of the expansion drafts, Pelton included Clark and Hull in the Fever's five-person core.Aside from CC and Hull, Pelton also projected Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell, and Makayla Timpson to make the protected list. Interestingly, Cunningham was predicted to be on the unprotected list.
