The Indiana Fever's Brianna Turner has had enough of United States President Donald Trump after his shocking comments to a reporter. Trump made headlines once again on Tuesday following a snappy response to a Bloomberg journalist asking a question about the Epstein Files. In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Turner shared his reaction to Trump calling Catherine Lucey a "piggy" inside Air Force One. The Fever forward can't help but wonder how supporters of the POTUS can tolerate his public actions that could have consequences for normal people. "I wonder how many U.S. citizens would be reprimanded at their jobs for answering a question this way. I will never understand why we tolerate the President behaving so foolishly in the public eye. I can only imagine the awful things he says in private," Turner tweeted. Brianna Turner was not the only one who was disgusted by Donald Trump's remarks to Catherine Lucey. The Bloomberg reporter was allowed to ask a question about the Jeffrey Epstein files, but the POTUS didn't seem to like the topic. According to The Guardian, CNN's Jake Tapper and former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson called out Trump for his remarks. It was also not his first time using the term "piggy" to describe a woman. He previously used it in 1996, when talking about Miss Universe Alicia Machado. Here's Bloomberg's statement regarding the issue: "Our White House journalists perform a vital public service, asking questions without fear or favor. We remain focused on reporting issues of public interest fairly and accurately."As for the Epstein files, the bill requiring the Justice Department to release the list has been approved by the House and Senate, as per CBS News. Turner is currently playing for the Perth Lynx in Australia, with the season already in its early stages. Her stint there is expected to end in February, just in time for her debut for Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball.Turner also signed a contract to appear for Athletes Unlimited's fifth season starting on Feb. 4, 2026. She will be a free agent in the WNBA, though things are murky due to the ongoing CBA negotiations. If a new CBA deal gets signed before the end of the month, there are going to be at least 100 free agents.
