The catchy sound, though, has been around since 1989, a reason why it has a feel and vibe of that era.While some have criticized both the Magic and the song, Angel Reese couldn’t care less.Wendell Carter Jr. wore Angel Reese’s “Mebounds” sneakers against PistonsWendell Carter Jr. showed up for the WNBA All-Star game in July wearing a shirt with Angel Reese’s face printed on it. He also considers the Chicago Sky star his favorite player. The Orlando Magic center, on the “Run It Back” show about a week ago, said that the two-time WNBA All-Star is “my girl.”In return, Reese has attended some of Carter’s home games this season. She has also been quite active in reacting to some of his highlight plays.On Friday, it was Wendell Carter Jr.’s turn to show support for Angel Reese.
