xQc accuses Pokimane of "farming him for drama and clips," as her X post about livestreaming leaves internet divided

Felix "xQc" recently responded to Twitch streamer Imane "Pokimane," who had shared a post on X that sparked debate amongst major creators in the industry. On November 19, 2025, Poki wrote about the state of streaming as a whole, touching on how it's shifted from gaming to more drama-focused content. Later, Poki's message was reposted by industry reporter, @FearedBuck, on X.

For context, Poki's initial post read:

"i miss when streaming was about gaming, not just drama baiting and clip farming 🧍🏻‍♀️"

xQc later responded to @FearedBuck's repost, calling out Pokimane for disturbing his "corner of streaming" during his 2021-2023 GTA RP-gambling era:

"Daily reminder that I was doing GTA RP by day, slots by night in my corner of streaming until everyone (her) farmed me and @Trainwreckstv for drama and clicks. Miss me with that energy. Walk the walk."

For context, Pokimane has consistently been vocal against xQc's relationship with gambling on stream. In 2023, after Kick announced that Felix had signed a two-year, $70 million non-exclusive deal with the platform, Poki implied that he had "compromised his morals and ethics" to sign a lucrative deal with a platform backed by Stake.com, an online casino.

In a June 2023 livestream, Poki had said:

"Why would I compromise my morals and ethics for more money when I have money? Something about that is so cringe to me personally."

These comments eventually led to a full-fledged debate where Pokimane and Felix hopped on a Discord call to discuss their differences.

Ludwig and xQc clash on X after the latter called out Pokimane

After xQc clapped back, Twitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren responded, suggesting his fellow platform member respond to Pokimane directly instead of to @FearedBuck's post:

"u can reply to her post directly its on the same website."

Felix responded, claiming that his thoughts on Pokimane were always universally understood:

"Also, I just read this again and WTF are you even saying? People know where I stand on EVERYTHING, ALWAYS. Do you think she doesn’t know that’s how I view things? Pic unrelated."

Ludwig circled back, emphasising his original stance while mentioning xQc's age:

"yeah just say it to her instead of replying to fearbuck you are 30 years old... learning how to grow a spine from jellywig."

Overall, Felix seemed to mention his past conversations with Pokimane and stated that he did not have to respond to her directly:

"Not trying to talk to her about it, that’s the whole point. We’ve been over this and done that. Why are you acting like I’m subtweeting or making a sly comment. She makes a public statement about the state of affairs, I reply to the public with context to why it’s the way it is."

He concluded by encouraging streamers to play more games if they feel like the industry is straying away from its original charm:

"Afterwards, the most prominent streaming “Circle” completely dissolved, relationships broken. We ended up so divided that kick had to be made, which even though it created competition, divided us even more. Want streaming to be more about games? Play games."

In other news, Pokimane revealed that a man had messaged her persistently for months, including reacting to her outfit photos, and then publicly announced his engagement.
