17-year-old Twitch streamer RaKai and his fellow platform member Deshae Frost recently came under criticism after a November 24, 2025, collab stream where the latter introduced a live turkey during a crowded Thanksgiving party. The broadcast was nearly three hours long and peaked at 28,000 live viewers. About an hour into the stream, Frost walked through the door with the turkey in his hands.Members at the party exclaimed as the bird was set on the floor. RaKai, Frost, and others gathered around the turkey, screaming and shouting. Seemingly distressed, the animal took shelter under a table, where a piece of cooked turkey lay on the carpet, as certain party-goers shouted:"Kill it! Kill it!.. Put that b**ch on the grill!"The clip went viral on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit, where user u/Ignignokt_DGAF reposted it with the caption:"More animal abuse on Twitch."More animal abuse on Twitch byu/Ignignokt_DGAF inLivestreamFailWhile this was happening, a majority of viewers in the chatbox seemed to be against the turkey's presence on stream. u/TheWaffleIronYT mentioned this in a comment, saying:"It seems like very few in the chat are on board with this.""it should be commended that a bunch of chatters were calling them out, not all hope is lost," added u/NeverLucky420 on r/LivestreamFail.Others criticized the content as a whole:"This is literally scripted brain rot. Only children and people with childlike mindsets are locked into this and pay for these people's lifestyle to continue making content like this," said u/Javen_Lab on r/LivestreamFail"I’m watching this sh*t on mute like how are these grown adults so excited about seeing a turkey wtf," said u/IndraBlue on r/LivestreamFailLooking at the aftermath of the turkey introduction during RaKai and Deshae Frost's Thanksgiving stream[Timestamp - 51:00]After a party member picked up the turkey and danced with it, RaKai and Frost went outside for a sidebar. Here, the 17-year-old confronted his partner, asking:"Why the f**k would you bring a real turkey? ('Ni**a, you told me to grab that motherf**ker, it was right outside!' said Dehsae Frost)After a bit of arguing, the two went back inside to check on the turkey. They found the animal in a caretaker's arms near the back door, being consoled, as RaKai said:"Make sure the turkey's alright. He's probably traumatized."In other news, RaKai faced backlash after his 2025 Halloween stream, where he dressed in whiteface as a character from the movie White Chicks, sparking accusations of racism and insensitivity.
