Warasit "Tokyogurl" is a 24-year-old Thai esports player who was part of the Thailand women’s national Arena of Valor (AoV) team up until her disqualification and expulsion at the 33rd SEA Games in Bangkok. At the SEA Games, Warasit was reported to have been using unauthorised third-party software or hardware to give her team the competitive edge.According to coverage from Thaiger, the esports player denied any allegations of cheating, claiming that if she were truly committing foul play, her team would have won against the opposing national team, Vietnam:"I'm answering randomly here. If I really cheated, I would’ve won already. Seriously, how would I even cheat?"Reports further indicated that the violation was confirmed to be a breach of the Esports Technical Handbook rule that bans the use of undue modifications to software and hardware in professional play. As a result, Tokyogurl, as well as the entire Thai women’s AoV team, was removed from the competition. Warasit's professional team, Talon TH, terminated her contract soon after the event.Additionally, Garena, the developer behind AoV, has banned her from future competitions under its platform. Following these actions, and a wave of backlash online, especially after she was seen making a middle-finger gesture on the broadcast, Tokyogurl deleted her social media accounts."This is really shameful": The Legal Mindset speaks on the Tokyogurl cheating scandalLawyer and YouTuber Andrew from "The Legal Mindset" touched on the cheating scandal involving Warasit at the SEA Games, calling the esports player's behaviour "shameful":"This is really shameful and disrespectful to her Thai teammates; she literally got the entire Thai national team disqualified.
