Twitch streamer Michael "Shroud" was recently accused of cheating during his on-stream gameplay of Arc Raiders. This is not an accusation the streamer is unfamiliar with, considering his successful career with precision shooters like CS:GO and Valorant. This time, though, his aim seemed to be a bit more suspicious than usual, and his opponents called him out for foul play.

To set the stage, on November 2, 2025, Shroud went live playing Arc Raiders. A few hours into the broadcast, his team was met by an opposing group. From Michael's perspective, he seemed to be firing shots at the team while skillfully peeking around a corner. The entire team was downed, and the streamer triumphantly said:

"Holy sh*t, I just f**king owned those guys!"

While the clip looked good from Michael's end, one of his opponents, who happened to be streaming their encounter, claimed that "cheating" was involved:

"He's cheating, he's cheating, he's cheating... He triple shot all three of us."

After being notified of the allegation by his chat, Shroud reviewed the clip from the opposite perspective, visibly shocked, mainly because it did look like the enemy team was caught by a flurry of bullets that came from behind a wall, and not particularly from an actual player:

"I just didn't know that's what it looked like from their perspective... It just looked like they didn't stand a chance."

Even Michael's own teammates claimed that the clip looked unfair from the enemy's point of view. Overall, speculation online suggests that the game's desync issues may have caused the streamer's around-the-wall jiggle-peek to make him invisible.

Michael's interaction on Arc Raiders quickly gained traction and soon caught the attention of streamer Felix "xQc," who, like many others, understood why the enemy team assumed foul play:

"Guys... 99% of people that died there would call him a cheater... It's fine."

He then sarcastically played into the cheating allegations, saying:

"He is a f**king cheater, he cheats the game, he knows he's cheating, and it's f**king annoying."

In other news, fans responded sharply after Shroud named four streamers, Asmongold, HasanAbi, Destiny, and Ethan Klein, as figures whose names one "doesn’t say" in the creator space.
