Twitch streamer Blaire "QTCinderella" has been accused of homophobia and racism online following a series of on-stream comments regarding her association with controversial people. These statements eventually led to a barrage of negative comments against her on X, with fellow platform member Emily "Vanillamace" creating distance from her.

QTCinderella's comments were brought to light after a now-deleted Video On Demand (VOD) went viral online. Based on YouTube reuploads, the VOD featured QTCinderella in discussion alongside Vanillamace and Twitch streamer KatieB. During the stream, the 31-year-old suggested that associating with a "racist" person does not make her inherently racist:

"I will never believe that if I'm kind to a hateful person, that means I agree with them. If I'm around a racist person... I'm just not racist, I'm not. Me? I'm not. They? Are. Yes, but how am I supposed to help them?"

User @daddybludd reposted a clip of this statement on X and captioned their post in criticism of the streamer:

"qtcinderella saying she wouldnt drop a racist is the craziest and most privileged sh*t i have ever seen."

In the same stream, QTCinderella touched on FaZe Clan's Nick "Lacy" making "homophobic jokes," and how she disagrees with such humor:

"Lacy makes some homophobic jokes sometimes, and I'm not comfortable with the homophobic jokes... Lacy knows that he can't make those jokes around me. That does not mean that I am homophobic."

@ABWB_Ryan reposted a clip of these comments and looped Blaire's partner, Ludwig Ahgren, into the mix, calling him out for allegedly displaying homophobic behavior at TwitchCon San Diego 2025, while also taking shots at FaZe Clan:

"QT when your bf Ludwig has a gay card and was at twitch con making fun of queer people, and when your new besties from Faze that you are obsessed with are homophobic and transphobic on the daily.. what do you expect us to think about when you are actively associating with them!"

More reactions across X added fuel to the fire:

"When someone wants to kill me because I'm Asian and queer but it's fine because white streamer QT cinderella says holding a grudge doesn't promote change," said @notomiue on X.
"somehow people are just now realizing how much of a centrist pick-me qtcinderella is, but like… she’s never actually hidden it? she kicks it with bigots and abusers, and rolls her eyes at all political discourse. she’s no one’s ally and never has been," said @squirrelchodes on X.

Vanillamace and Fanfan react to the QTCinderella drama

Vanillamace, who had appeared alongside QTCinderella in multiple Twitch broadcasts, commented on the latter's comments and mentioned that she did not share her fellow streamer's sentiments:

"Simply didn't agree with it, I was uncomfortable, obviously... You know who I am, you know what I stand for, if you're someone who's been watching me, then you already f**king know... You know what I stand for, you know how I'm gonna go about this."

Vanillamace also suggested that she would be taking a break:

"I am simply stepping back from everything, everyone... gonna touch a lil' grass."

Twitch streamer Fanfan went against the grain in this situation and came to QTCinderella's defense, claiming that the streamer's objective was to "give people a chance to learn and improve":

"is it really a bad thing for someone like QT to give people a chance to learn and improve? she actively condemns things people say even when it's a joke made in bad taste... there's so much more to her intentions than the phrase 'you are not who you associate with' implies, and imo criticizing her for this heavily nuanced sentiment that was just boiled down to one simple sentence discounts everything she's been working for (which has no doubt always been inclusivity and cohabitation)."

On October 27, 2025, QTCinderella apologized to the queer community and people of color while addressing the controversy on her Twitch stream.
