Kick streamer Matthew "Mizkif" has issued a statement regarding the allegations Emily "Emiru" made against him, saying that her claims are "outright false," and that he "never sexually assaulted" her. For context, in October 2025, Emiru accused Mizkif of sexual assault, domestic and physical abuse, stalking, harassment, and blackmail threats during their relationship.

On November 5, 2025, reports surfaced indicating that Mizkif had filed a defamation lawsuit against Emiru, as well as against Zack "Asmongold," OTK Media Inc., Mythic Talent Management Inc., and King Gaming Labs.

On December 17, 2025, the New Jersey native hosted his first-ever livestream on Kick and took the opportunity to address the allegations Emiru had leveled against him.

He said:

"Those who have been following the events of the last couple of months may have seen this coming. Many of you will recall in October, I'm sure all of you can recall, Emiru went public with the information that we had a secret relationship, and we've been in one for the past couple of years. She has made several accusations against me, some of which were outright false. The resulting court case, both with Emi and OTK, are things that I plan to handle privately. I want to make this very clear for people that either have either watched YouTube videos or just want to completely not listen to anything that I said in my stream, or have seen clips and may have been misinformed - I never sexually assaulted Emiru. I never abused Emiru. And I never stalked Emiru."

Mizkif says his viewers "just want to see him die"

Mizkif's address continued, with him stating he had "put up a shield around his life" over the past few years, in many ways. While claiming that he had "been living a lie to his viewers," the former OTK member expressed his belief that "no one really cares" about his situation because he now livestreams on Kick.

He added:

"I have been lying to my community about the biggest thing in my life. And by putting up a shield around my life for the last few years, in many ways, I've been living a lie to my viewers. I've, you know, haven't really been able to talk about my relationships or things because it's just been hidden. I've been hiding a lot of how I feel, or just talking about stuff. No one really cares about that because I'm on Kick. You guys just want to see me die. So, I felt that I've done a disservice both to my truth and to my viewers. And I know my viewers have felt the same."
