Things nearly work out multiple times, only for Bruce’s social awkwardness and his attempts to impress to start sabotaging his efforts in St. Denis Medical season 2 episode 7.He comes really close to an injured cyclist, only to focus on the year a cycle was made, which weirds out the potential friend. Meanwhile, while all this has been going on, Matt hopes that he and Bruce become closer, even if the surgeon doesn’t see the younger nurse at all.However, by the end of the episode, the situation changes when Bruce fails multiple times and invites Matt to hang out outside of work so that they can create a game plan for future encounters.
