Palm Royale season 2 episode 5 is set to premiere at 3:00 am ET on December 10, 2025, on Apple TV+. The series revolves around Maxine Dellacorte-Simmons as she battles her way to the top of Palm Beach’s exclusive and ruthless social ladder. After more than a few shocking revelations about Norma, Axel, Douglas, and more, season 2 has set Maxine up for murder. That is, after a masterful plan by Norma places her daughter-in-law in trouble, leaving the former Mrs Dellacorte-Simmons in a pickle.
The older Mrs. Dellacorte, on the other hand, has escaped, making her way to the Alps, just as revelations about her come to light, including the possibility that she may not be Norma, but rather someone who has assumed her identity. But by the end of Palm Royale season 2 episode 4, Douglas has been kidnapped, Norma has disappeared, Robert is now a multi-millionaire, and Maxine has discovered Norma’s true identity.

A brief recap of Palm Royale season 2 episode 4
Episode 4 of Palm Royale season 2 kicks off with Maxine in jail and being interrogated by Tom after he hears Norma’s screams about Maxine attempting to kill her. So he bursts into the room, only to find Maxine alone, while Norma is nowhere to be seen.
He, thus, believes Mrs Dellacorte-Simmons killed the older Dellacorte, and he arrests her. However, a lawyer named Dr. Dusty Magic helps secure her release, allowing Maxine to open an investigation into Norma on her own.
While she attempts to clear her name, Evelyn tries to gain control of the Palm Royale club by manipulating the three founders. It’s then that they realize that Norma used Maxine’s name as an escape plan, stole Evelyn’s money, and ran off. Maxine even discovers a hotel room booked in her name by Norma and figures out that the crafty older woman has run away to the Alps.
She also finds out, via a letter left for her with Robert, that Douglas and Mitzi are now officially married. However, her now ex-husband is also broke, as Norma has left everything to Robert in order to ensure that he will keep quiet about her secret. However, Maxine eventually learns about Norma’s true identity when she takes off her wedding ring and sees the name Agnes engraved on it.
She confronts Robert. Meanwhile, Douglas steps out for some air after Mitzi banishes him to the couch until he gives her the affluent life she has always dreamed about. That turns out to be a mistake as the moment he steps outside, the episode ends with him being kidnapped by unknown assailants.
What to expect from Palm Royale season 2 episode 5
Judging by the end of episode 4, Palm Royale season 2, episode 5 will likely open with Robert spilling the beans to Maxine about who Agnes is and her relation to Norma. He happens to be the only one, at the time, who knows exactly who Agnes is and Norma’s connection to her.
Beyond that, Evelyn will likely continue to manipulate the three founders of the Palm Royale club in order to buy it, despite losing her fortune after Norma steals it and disappears. Episode 4 shows that she can be very resourceful when she wants to and thus will likely attempt to figure out another way to finance her dreams.
However, a major storyline in season 2, episode 4 of Palm Royale is that Douglas is seemingly kidnapped at the end of the episode. The question remains: who did it? And given the problems he has caused over the last few episodes, he is not short on enemies.
The prime suspect, however, is likely Pinky the mobster, especially since Douglas owes the gang a substantial amount of money. He was planning to pay them by giving them Norma’s mansion after her disappearance. However, since his aunt left everything to Robert, Douglas is close to penniless and unable to pay anyone, let alone his nightclub debt.
