The episode kicks off with a massive revelation: Norma isn’t actually Norma; she is Agnes posing as Norma. She tells Robert that Norma died during a struggle when they were teenagers, and a nun at the nunnery where they lived told Agnes to pose as Norma to live her affluent life.Nobody ever figured it out. The only person who knew Norma was her father, and he had just passed away, and nobody in America knew what she actually looked like. Thus, Agnes assumed Norma’s identity and took over her fortune, living her life ever since, until Robert found out everything.Maxine, on the other hand, continued her investigation. With the help of several allies from across Palm Beach, she eventually discovered’ Norma’s trophy room. Located in the Dellacorte house, in the room where Robert was recovering, Maxine finds several trinkets and mementos, including Axel Rosenhip's cufflinks.From there, she makes the leap and suspects that Norma is a serial killer, as the other trinkets are from people who have died recently and over the years in Palm Beach. Maxine then proceeds to confront Norma. Episode 3 ended with Norma trapping Maxine before escaping through a trap door after the latter confronted her with her crimes. Not only that, she brought the FBI into the mix, leaving Maxine with numerous complications to deal with.Evelyn and Dinah will likely help their friend as they did in the previous episode, and Maxine will likely tell Dinah that Axel may have been killed by Norma. Robert’s recovery is expected to proceed as planned. He is likely to keep Norma’s secrets after promising her to do the same, especially as he remains under her control for now.For Norma, the episode is pivotal, as she tells her accomplice, Sidonius, that they need to accelerate their plans. However, she never reveals what those plans are.
