A brief recap of NCIS season 23 episode 6

In NCIS season 23 episode 6, Page-Turner, Agent Timothy McGee's life is put in danger after being abducted. But while he thinks the woman who kidnapped him, Kathy Sheldon, is either a super fan of his writer alter ego or wants the drive with stolen classified documents from the murder case the NCIS is handling, she just wants him to help find her son.

But as the abduction and murder case unfolds, McGee and the rest of the NCIS team find out that Kathy's son is already dead. He's the pilot who died from a faulty retrofitted plane a month ago. His best friend, Captain Myers, is the dead body the team found in a crime scene early in the episode, and whom they believed stole the classified documents.

However, as it turns out, Captain Myers was attempting to expose the flaws in the retrofitted system's design. But before he could, the engineer in charge of the project killed him. Palmer also makes a breakthrough in the case of Alden Parker's mother's death, which the team has kept hidden from their boss.
