Heated Rivalry is HBO Max and Crave's latest sports romance drama series. Based on the Rachel Reid novel of the same name, the story centers around two rival professional hockey players. Connor Storrie stars as Russian-born Ilya Rozanov of the fictitious Boston Raiders opposite Hudson Williams's character, Canadian-born Shane Hollander of the fictitious Montreal Metros.Letterkenny alum Jacob Tierney created the story for the television series. But weeks before it premiered on Friday, November 28, the show had yet to find an international home. But lo and behold, it has sold to HBO Max in the US and Australia on November 19, just nine days before the series premiere.Heated Rivalry will have six episodes, and the first two arrived on Crave and HBO Max on November 28.
