"We do one take, and I run into the tent to watch it with Ross (Duffer). And we both look at each other like, 'Oh, that's it. Don't touch it. Don't touch it. Check, check. We're done.' And it was just like a first one-take wonder."

Noah Schnapp made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. From speaking about Will Byers' journey to the challenges of working on the final season, Schnapp shared intriguing and exclusive snippets from Stranger Things 5.
Amidst the several topics he touched upon during the interview, the actor spoke in detail about the final scene of the latest season's episode 4, 'Sorcerer'. Being the volume finale, the ending of the episode caught the attention of the viewers as Will gains powers and kills three Demogorgons to save his friends. Schnapp elaborated on the preparations that went into filming that scene. He stated on the talk show:
"I was like, this is the volume finale. We have to perfect this. We'll be here all night. Like, let's get comfortable. This is going to be take 100."
However, as Schnapp further revealed in the quote mentioned before, he and the team were able to capture the required elements for the scene in a single take. The one-take wonder became one of the most favorite scenes for the global audience from volume 1. Schnapp also reenacted the final moments of episode 4 on the talk show, giving viewers a look at the pivotal scene live.

Noah Schnapp speaks about Will's signature power move and working with the Duffer brothers on the scene
Noah Schnapp's character, Will, also has a signature move for using his powers, which is different from Eleven's iconic hand gesture. Speaking about how he and the team came up with that, Noah Schnapp shared:
"So actually, it was originally supposed to just be like this (Eleven's gesture). But eventually, we learn that it kind of comes like differently. It comes from Vecna. I kinda wanted to make sure that it's showing, like, siphoning this energy out of him."
The actor further shared about how Matt and Ross Duffer encouraged him to bring his own touch to the scene and his character. He said:
"They (the Duffer brothers) will put full trust in all of us. And it's so special. I text them nonstop like, 'Guys, I know I've texted you 400,000 times, but thank you so much.' Like, this is so special for me. And like, I've dreamed of having stuff, like an opportunity like this. And it was, oh, like, it's such a dream."
While Will's powers become a new development in the final season of the series, it is awaited to witness how it would impact the events that unfold ahead.
