As Sam mentioned,We basically pick up Rue [Zendaya] south of the border in Mexico, in debt to Laurie [Kelly], trying to come up with some very innovative ways to pay it off. This dark new setting suggests Rue is deeply entangled in her former drug habit's consequences, desperately seeking a way out of a very dangerous situation. The transition into her twenties brings the high-stakes reality of her addiction to a new, international level.Cassie and Nate: The Suburban Nightmare in EuphoriaOne of the most shocking reveals focuses on the tumultuous pair, Cassie Howard and Nate Jacobs. The cast list does not include Austin Abrams or Algee Smith, and Angus Cloud, who played Fezco, died in 2023, leaving a large gap that cannot be filled.
