Pop culture podcaster Perez Hilton shared his reaction to the recent revelation about a California man accused of murdering his estranged wife and later s*xually assaulting her corpse. On November 21, a man named Zarbab Ali was found guilty of murdering his estranged wife, Rachel Castillo. Ali stabbed Castillo to death on November 10, 2022, and three years later, he was convicted of first-degree murder.During the trial held earlier this month, a video from the interrogation was played before the jury. Perez Hilton reported on what was revealed during the trial in his November 25 blog. The blogger mentioned that Ali was arrested three years back when cops suspected his involvement in his wife's murder after finding her body.He reported that in the video presented to the court, the Californian man admitted to killing his estranged wife. Perez Hilton shared that after stabbing his wife fatally, Zarbab Ali buried the body in a shallow grave. Later in the night, he went back to the grave and exhumed the corpse. After analyzing the evidence and interrogation video, the jury found Ali guilty of murder on November 21.Perez Hilton discussed what Zarbab Ali told cops after he was arrested. On the day of the murder, Ali picked up his two sons from Castillo's apartment and dropped them at his parents' house. He went back to the apartment and decided to murder his estranged wife. However, after seeing an old couple passing by, he waited in his car. Ali told cops that he "didn't want to do it.""He sat in his car for ten minutes before ultimately deciding to return to the apartment. There, he said that he turned off the lights in the living room and waited for Castillo to come out of the bedroom. Once she did, he told cops that he pushed her to the ground and stabbed her three times with a knife he’d taken from the kitchen," Hilton detailed the incident.Earlier, Ali told cops that Castillo died within a minute after he stabbed her. After killing her, the estranged husband wrapped the body in a blanket and buried it in a remote area of Antelope Valley.The murder took place at a time when Castillo and Ali were about to finalize their divorce. Perez Hilton noted that Ali told investigators that he was not happy with the separation.
