Alex Cooper doesn't hold back in talking about her love for Taylor Swift and how the pop star changed her life. The podcaster and influencer appeared on the episode of actor Owen Thiele's In Your Dreams podcast on Friday, November 7, and discussed the pop superstar's impact on her. After noticing a poster of Swift's Fearless album on the wall of the podcast studio, she said:"I can't stop staring and looking at the Fearless album behind your head. Those songs changed my life. Life, Fearless was my era of girlhood where I was really starting to like boys... I just really found that I was such a loser and [Swift] was my connector of like, 'He doesn't love me.'" Thiele responded, suggesting that Alex Cooper was in love with Swift and that the pop star got her through those parts of her life, which Cooper agreed with. She also said:"She [Swift] was my s*xual awakening for women."She later joked that it was "weird" to say that, but it wasn't the first time Alex Cooper sang Taylor Swift's praises. In an interview with People in December 2024, the podcaster named the pop star as one of her dream podcast guests, along with Rihanna. She said that she admires both for building "such incredible empires" and that she has respect for both artists.Alex Cooper was recently accused of shading Taylor Swift in her podcastAlex Cooper at the Bay FC v Angel City FC (Image via Kelley L. The episode in question was when she had Kim Kardashian as her celebrity guest, published on October 15.During the nearly two-hour interview, the podcaster brought up Kardashian's history with public scandals and feuds. And while she didn't mention any names, she referenced a past scandal where someone, at one point, "tried to cancel" the reality TV star. Fans online connected the dots to Taylor Swift, who previously feuded with Kim and Kanye West. The clip sparked discourse among Swifties, with some accusing Cooper of taking sides and accusing her of suggesting that Swift tried to cancel Kardashian because of how she framed her words. The clip has been widely reshared widely on social media, but the full episode contains a broader interview where the Call Her Daddy podcaster asked Kardashian about longstanding rumors. In her guesting on the In Your Dreams podcast on Friday, Alex Cooper admitted that she's "still in Tortured Poets," Taylor Swift's previous album before she released her 12th, The Life of a Showgirl.
