Perez Hilton reacted to a new viral video of Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, where the former called the latter “s*xy” and joked about missing "s*xual harassment training,” amidst an ongoing legal battle. In a November 18 article on his website, Hilton remarked:

“Hmm. This is a bit… unexpected…”

In his website article, Perez Hilton further noted that Baldoni had spent the last several months “digging up" new dirt on Lively, in an attempt to counter her claims.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ on November 17, Baldoni’s production company, Wayfarer, had filed a new exhibit in the dispute. It was a behind-the-scenes video allegedly recorded during a break in filming.

Hilton reported that people following the case closely were already aware of this exchange (that had previously taken place), but now the actor was "providing the proof."

The video, reportedly taken on a bar set between scenes, shows Baldoni interacting with Lively and co-star Jenny Slate. At one point, Baldoni appeared to glance at Lively and remark:

“I think it’s pretty hot. S*xy,”

Hilton detailed how, in the video, Baldoni then attempted to point out something in Lively’s teeth and asked for a “toothpick.” However, his behavior took an awkward turn when, after making an “unintelligible” comment about Slate, he said:

“Sorry, I missed the s*xual harassment training.”

Hilton also mentioned that Baldoni then stared at the camera and gave a "big eye roll” after he commented. He noted that some “apparent crew members” in the vicinity appeared “visibly uncomfortable” after hearing the “s*xy” remark.

What else did Perez Hilton say about the new viral video of Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively?

In his website article, Perez Hilton weighed in on the new revelations in the legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni over the now-viral video. He dissected Baldoni’s legal team’s defense regarding the actor’s behavior in the clip.

In the filing, Baldoni’s legal team attempted to portray his behavior as harmless. This was because in the video, after the aforementioned exchange took place, Baldoni said, “Well, my apologies,” to which Blake Lively reportedly replied, “All good.” But her words were not audible in the recording.

Baldoni’s legal team, therefore, implied that this showed no harm was done and that the environment on set remained amicable.

Perez Hilton, however, suggested with a hint of skepticism that Baldoni’s team was trying to spin the moment in their favor. According to him, "they think it proves there was no harm done" if Blake Lively herself was "so chill" with Baldoni's remark.

Baldoni’s lawyers had argued that his use of the word “s*xy” in reference to Lively was “entirely unremarkable,” noting she was “not scantily clad” but wearing a “fleece onesie,” just like others in the scene. They claimed the context was professional and free of flirtation, stating:

“Nor was this anything that might remotely approach flirtation — rather, both she and Baldoni were working at the time, surrounded by actors and crew. Baldoni’s expression was neutral and not ogling or suggestive.”

Hilton challenged this defense. He critiqued their logic further, arguing it suggested harassment depended on a woman’s attire. He explained:

“So, what? It can’t be s*xual harassment if a woman isn’t wearing something super revealing? It doesn’t matter if a girl’s made to be uncomfortable by a man’s unwanted opinion on her body because she’s not wearing a conventionally ‘attractive’ outfit or he doesn’t sound flirty enough?? What kind of argument is that? Just saying!”

Hilton also noted that Justin Baldoni’s lawyers claimed Lively herself had “set the tone” for personal discussions on set, asserting she had “no issue using the word ‘s*xy’ herself,” but “took note both times Baldoni said the word in her presence.” He described this as a weak and dismissive defense.

Perez Hilton also detailed some updated facts about the Blake Lively vs Justin Baldoni legal drama.

He detailed that Blake Lively’s amended complaint accused Wayfarer Studios of having “failed to provide” the actress “with even rudimentary employment protections.” This included an “employee handbook, s*xual harassment policy, information", or any "training on s*xual harassment, discrimination, or respectful workplace expectations.”

Addressing the broader context, Hilton remarked that Justin Baldoni had been under scrutiny for alleged misconduct and had been “accused of s*xual harassment on set,” suggesting that “brazenly joking about it” was not “a good look” for him.

He then highlighted what he saw as a stark contradiction.

“That said, despite his joke, the filmmaker testified in his deposition in early October that he had participated in anti-discrimination, anti-harassment and anti-retaliation training during production of the Colleen Hover movie. Yet it was still a laughing matter to him,” Perez Hilton added.

The video mentioned above is part of a broader legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. In her lawsuit, Lively accused Justin Baldoni of se*xual harassment and workplace retaliation on the set of It Ends With Us, seeking more than $160 million in damages.

Justin Baldoni has denied all allegations of misconduct, though his $400 million countersuit was dismissed earlier this year.

On November 13, Baldoni and his co-defendants filed a motion requesting Judge Lewis J. Liman to rule in their favor without a trial, with a decision still pending. For now, the trial is scheduled to begin in March 2026, marking the next stage in this high-profile legal drama.
