However, Piers Morgan defended the veteran politician after his prostate cancer diagnosis earlier this year. Biden's office announced his diagnosis in May 2025. According to the spokesperson, the cancer was of an aggressive type and had spread to his bones.

Although several people came out in support of the Democrat supremo, many trolled his health. On May 18, Morgan supported Joe Biden via a post on X. He wrote:

"I’m going to block anyone I see - and there’s already a lot of this vile crap flying around - mocking, celebrating, or playing partisan politics with Joe Biden’s health news. The man has served his country for 50yrs and is fighting for his life. Show some bloody respect."
